3 people stabbed inside McKinley Park home. Man in custody, police say.

Three people were stabbed in the kitchen of a Southwest Side home Monday evening, and a 22-year-old man was taken into custody, according to Chicago police.

About 7 p.m., a man used a knife to stab a 20-year-old woman, 49-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man inside a home in the 3300 block of South Claremont Avenue in the McKinley Park neighborhood, police said.

The younger woman was cut in the head and taken to St. Anthony Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said. The older woman was stabbed multiple time to the neck, face and body, and she was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center in critical condition.

The man was also stabbed multiple times in the body and taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

The 22-year-old man was taken into custody and taken to St. Anthony Hospital for “unknown injuries,” police said.
