The Jets are 0-7 and have to go to Kansas City on Sunday to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs. What can go wrong? To break down everything going on with Gang Green this week, we bring you a brand new episode of the critically acclaimed “Gang’s All Here” podcast with Brian Costello, me and the man calling the game on CBS Sunday, Kevin Harlan.

Coz and I get the show rolling getting into Quinnen Williams. The Jets are NOT shopping their young defensive lineman, despite a rumor out there he was on the block. We then get into a topic that will surround the Jets all season and into the offseason and that’s Trevor Lawrence. Did his comments this week mean anything or is it a non-story? It would be crazy if Lawrence goes back to Clemson next year when he is locked in to be the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft. Coz breaks down where the Jets are at on the injury front going into Sunday’s game. Unfortunately, whoever is on the field for the Jets probably won’t help much against the almighty Chiefs. We talk about Le’Veon Bell, whether he runs all over the Jets and make our predictions for the game, where the spread is around 19 points. The Chiefs probably will cover and blow the Jets out, sending them to 0-8.

In this week’s installment of “Brian’s Book,” Coz takes us inside the life of a beat writer on a deadline…during the Super Bowl. He specifically looks back to Super Bowl 51 when the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead and lost to the Patriots in overtime, leading to a nightmare for writers that need to get the story in as soon as the game ends. Oh, the pain.

We then bring in associate producer Alex Cammarata to give us a “Name That Jet” trivia question before a few “Would You Rather” questions. Coz knew the answer to the trivia question quickly. Coz compares Kansas City’s BBQ vs. Seattle seafood. I explain why I am over Halloween. Coz chooses candy corn over yellow Starbursts.

CBS, Westwood One and TNT play-by-play broadcaster and national treasure Kevin Harlan then joins the podcast. Harlan talks about being on the call for Jets-Chiefs Sunday alongside Trent Green and what to expect in the game. He gets into the Jets coaching situation, facing Eric Bieniemy, why he will make a great NFL head coach and Andy Reid’s coaching tree having success. Harlan discusses the future of Sam Darnold, Trevor Lawrence and why it’s not time to close the book on Darnold. The two-time National Sportscaster of the Year also talks about his time working in the broadcast booth with Boomer Esiason, the greatest games and moments he has ever called and what stands out most. I also reveal the news to Harlan that Joe Benigno is retiring and Craig Carton is replacing him, which he was not aware of.
