Trump and Biden are interviewed on‘60 Minutes.’ They offer very different visions.

“Look at the bias, hatred and rudeness on behalf of 60 Minutes and CBS,” Mr. Trump tweeted on Thursday with a link to the clip.

The footage, however, shows Mr. Trump becoming increasingly annoyed as Ms. Stahl calmly and firmly asks the president about the coronavirus and other subjects.

The episode, a tradition for the network, also featured interviews with Vice President Mike Pence, who is Mr. Trump’s running mate, and Senator Kamala Harris, Mr. Biden’s running mate.

Every four years, “60 Minutes” interviews the major candidates for president of the United States.

Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., providing his clearest answer in weeks about his position on expanding the size of the Supreme Court, said that he would establish a bipartisan commission of scholars to study a possible overhaul of the court system, according to an excerpt from the interview released last week.

“I will ask them to, over 180 days, come back to me with recommendations as to how to reform the court system because it’s getting out of whack,” Mr. Biden told CBS News’s Norah O’Donnell, according to the interview excerpt.

President Trump’s portion of the program also made headlines — not for the issues he discussed, but because he cut off his interview with his interlocutor, the “60 minutes” correspondent Lesley Stahl, then taunted her on Twitter and posted a 38-minute clip of the interview on Facebook.
